You make my heart sing!

I approached Karl Jones back in 2006 when I first started designing and asked him if I could practice my skills on his music. Over the years we created a lot of beautiful CD's, poster, and other marketing materials. Below is an email that I received when I told my oldest client, Karl Jones, that I would be taking on a full time graphic artist position with the Great Harvest Bread Co.

We had certain things we needed to accomplish together and we did them, The music business unfairly is still in a lot of ways a mans' world, when you start booking gigs and exploring where the power is, one see's this again and again but for me it's always been about integrating as much feminine energy into what I'm doing as possible, for me it's always women that are my greatest defender's advocates and protectors,

I have my own view of why that is and that's related to spirituality and what is most closely tied to energy, creation and life...........

what was important for you was to build your confidence and actually experience the opportunity to see your work effect people in the world and prove it's relevance as art as well,

what I needed was someone, flexible with faith in me and genuine interest in seeing my music succeed in reaching a wider audience,

we did it.

I'm a full fledged professional musician and your the equivalent in Graphic art, a master of it. Embrace that fully and take it to heart because everybody around you accepts that now and you have the seal of approval of powerful friends, your very safe and protected so take your time to find your way, where you really want to be, what you want to do.

We will always be friends,

love

thank you for your gratitude, things are relatively easy now, but your one of the only ones that really truely understands how hard it was to crack open the music scene in AZ and keep it open, what it really cost emotionally and other ways at times and you also felt how close to breaking I came but we held strong through a perfect storm and as easy as things are coming now, I'll never forget the fact we both earned it and no one else gets near it anymore unless they treat it with value, It being the music, the art, the words the people that made a difference when there was really nothing but stagnation around us to work with and fight against,

I'm really proud of you,

you did it,

All the best.
-Karl Jones
